Nne Ekop is an accomplished Nigerian Legal Practitioner with over a decade of extensive experience in Human Rights, comprising of social rights, political rights, civil rights and economical rights navigating through the rigours of enforcements of such rights. Nne Ekop applies herself as a Change Agent in ensuring that innovations are made ensuring laws are enforced with an human face paying attention to long term considerations.
Nne Ekop learned a degree in Law (LL.B) back in 2007 and was called to bar in the year 2008. She also obtained a certification on Alternative despute resolution in the year 2009. Through her course, she developed a passionate interest in the International Humanitarian Law and applicability of the laws across international planes.
She has so far developed her legal practice by focusing on Corporate law practice, human rights and civil liberties, jurisprudence and international conventions amongst others. Her General Practice of Law has also grown in leaps and bounds in the past decade.
Nne Ekop hopes to engage more with influential decision-makers and thought leaders in international public policy. She's open to challenges, conversations, and an exchange of ideas from the top players in the Civil society and legal industry.
Her long-term goal is to become a national-level policy adviser. She wants to use her untiring commitment and drive to bring more dignity and autonomy to the citizens of developing countries using Nigeria as her springboard
