My name is Kanyinsola Bashorun, 25, a Human Rights enthusiast and advocate, holds a diploma in Mass Communication from Yaba College of Technology {YABATECH} and currently a part time student of Journalism at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Ogba, Lagos.

I consider myself as an ambitious citizen of Nigerian who foresees a society where human rights are guaranteed regardless of sex, age, religion and sexual orientation. Over the years I have participated in many human rights workshops and trainings and also volunteered for 8years with The Initiative for Equal Rights {TIERs} before becoming a staff of the organization in 2015.

In addition to my Diploma, I have further certifications in sexual rights advocacy. I am actively passionate about human rights particularly as it pertains to sexual minorities. I served as a paralegal with the human rights and advocacy department as TIERs. I’m greatly inspired by the life and works of Bisi Adeleye Fayemi and Femi Falana and strive to operate by the principle of truth.
