Sylvia is a community organiser and an avid advocate for the LGBTQI+ community. She has spent the past two years actively working with the Bisi Alimi foundation to accelerate the social acceptance of LGBTQI+ people in Nigeria; first, in her capacity as the Executive Assistant/IT Officer and now as the Human Resources/Operations Manager for the foundation.

Sylvia is a strong believer in the power of positive thinking and has strong passion for human rights advocacy, gender issues and social development.

She holds a degree in Religious and Cultural studies from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and hopes to use her background knowledge in culture and research to further advocate the need for diversity, inclusion and acceptance.

In her leisure time she enjoys playing video games, watching movies and experiencing new places.
