Amb Emmanuel Gabari

Amb Emmanuel Gabari is a multiple award-winning TV/Radio Broadcaster who uses his globally watched online TV show SHAGALINKU TV to address issues that affect humanity.

He is also a Social Worker and the Executive Director of African Focus for Youth Development (AFFYD), a registered non-governmental organization that caters for youth, women, children, vulnerable and marginalized groups. He has done lots of field work in youth development, gender and sexual based violence, reproductive health, human rights issues, media inclusion, sexual minorities, democracy and good governance.

He has held various leadership positions internationally and locally and represented Nigeria in different countries, some of which are:

* Delegate: FRANCE – ONE Youth Summit held in Paris. (ONE Campaign)

* Delegate: KENYA – Learning visit for TeXchange held in Nairobi. (SFCG/USAID)

* Delegate: BOTSWANA – Pan Africa ILGA Conference held in Gaborone. (PAI)

* Delegate: TANZANIA – Learning visit for 2nd TeXchange held in Dar es Salaam. (SFCG/USAID)

FELLOW: Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) RLC Accra, Ghana.
