Chinyere Elizabeth Okoroafor

Journalist

Chinyere Elizabeth Okoroafor studied English and Literature at Abia State University, Uturu and freelanced for the defunct Entertainment Express.
After university, she previously worked at Alimosho mail, a community newspaper in Lagos, where she reported on effects of dirty environment, poor healthcare stories and other issues affecting the community. She attended Nigerian Institute of Journalism in Lagos for her Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism.

Currently, she freelances at The Nation newspaper, where she writes on human interest stories. Chinyere is an art of word enthusiast. She believes that the capacity of words to make someone happy or sad impresses her so much. For her, words are like math wherein one has to master and know a workable formula to deliver the right message. She is also obsessed with eating healthy and losing weight.
