Jide Babalola has twenty years of experience in journalism.
He has held senior reportorial positions at Concord newspapers where he edited community newspapers – The Comet, TELL Magazine, Punch and The Nation newspapers where he currently works as an Assistant Editor.

He has 4 years of work at the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and has a self-effacing mode of activism in support of various causes.

Jide has an academic background in both Psychology and Mass Communication.

He founded Journalists for Development Communications Initiative (JFDCi) and mobilises young journalists and journalism students to focus on development issues.
